This weekend we will be moving, again, finally.

Back in May we moved into a small 2 bedroom apartment after selling our 2 bedroom condo. Having a son and daughter sharing a room was working there, but we knew it wouldn't be long until he wouldn't be so keen on sharing a room with her, plus we needed extra room! We had pretty much outgrown the condo - it was getting crowded in that place. So right now everything we need to have is here at the apartment while all the rest of our things are in storage. And going from a 2 floor condo to a 1 floor even small apartment has been an adjustment for us all.

But Friday we take ownership of the house we are buying. We found it and had a signed contract on it a week after selling our condo! It has totally been a God thing too - my husband didn't want to see the house, but I did and he agreed to and we both fell in love with it. Everything has gone fairly smoothly as well. There were a couple little bumps in the road getting to this point, but in the end everything worked out well. So we will soon be the owners of a 3 bedroom single family house!

I am so excited about moving and having more room. Wednesday and Thursday will be packing up things here at the apartment that is in need of being packed up (a lot of our stuff is still in bins/boxes though). Friday afternoon we will be heading over to do a good cleaning of the house before moving anything in, Saturday everything from storage and the apartment will be moved into the new house and we will be sleeping there Saturday night. Then will be the unpacking and putting-things-away process.

I'm hoping this move goes smoothly for the kids. I noticed some slight changes in them with things they would do or how they would act when we moved here to the apartment, but they are both used to being here now just in time to move again. This apartment has served us well for these almost 3 months of living here, but I am ready to be done with apartment living. Will be the first time in our married life and first for the kids where we will not have anyone living above us or to either side of us!

This will be a new, exciting adventure for all for of us! Can't wait for Friday to get here to let the craziness and excitement and everything else that comes with buying a house start happening. I know it will be stressful and busy and hectic at times, but we will soon be settled into a house where we can invasion living for a long, long time!
